About AACI Group

AACI Group, Inc. is dedicated to making insurance more accessible and affordable in catastrophe-prone regions. Climate change is increasing the frequency and severity of wildfires and other natural disasters, while carriers are retreating from high-risk markets. Homeowners are being left with fewer and more expensive options. We are addressing this challenge by building AI-native insurance agencies and digital services that combine risk data, loss prevention, and innovative product delivery.

Role Overview

This is our second PM hire. You will work alongside the Director of Product to own the full product lifecycle across concurrent workstreams from our customer-facing agency experiences, to internal operations tooling, to automation and integrations. You will not be filling a seat; you will help shape the product org.

You are the right candidate if you…

  • Can own an entire product area autonomously, without waiting to be unblocked
  • Are a builder at heart
  • Feel comfortable using AI-assisted tools to prototype and validate without burning engineering cycles
  • Embody the Four I's of a strong owner: Intensity, Intuition, Initiative, and Imagination (for more, see our CEO’s recent blog post)
  • Feel at home incorporating the latest AI technology into both your workflow and the product itself
  • Are nimble enough to adapt when priorities shift
  • Have the grit to respond to obstacles with action

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside your engineering and design counterparts to own the full product lifecycle of concurrent projects across all of AACI’s insurance and digital services platforms: from our customer-facing experiences,to our internal operations tooling, to our suite of automation and integrations.
  • Use AI-assisted tools (Claude, Replit, Lovable etc.) to rapidly prototype and validate concepts without needing engineering resources.
  • Maintain sufficient documentation such that all vested stakeholders are aware and aligned of what you are building, why, and when.
  • Define clear success metrics to ensure accountability across teams.
  • Blend of mix of quantitative data analysis and qualitative user feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate across the entire business to align product development with strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the product complies with all local and national regulations and data security best practices

What Success Looks Like in 6 Months

  • You’ve shipped the right products, at the right time, in order for us to deliver a first of its kind experience
  • You’re able to measure the health and success of your products through quantifiable data
  • You’ve built strong relationships across the board with both leadership and your cross functional stakeholders
  • You have a clear vision for what you need to accomplish in your areas over the next 6-12 months.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of product management experience at a technology company, with at least 1 year in a startup or early-stage environment
  • Experience owning both operational/internal tooling and consumer-facing product surfaces
  • Track record of shipping multi-stakeholder features with measurable, quantifiable impact on top or bottom line
  • Exceptional written communication: PRDs, release notes, and async updates that stakeholders actually read and act on
  • Demonstrated ability to run inclusive requirements and design processes that incorporate dissenting viewpoints constructively
  • Quantitative orientation: You define success metrics before work begins and evaluate against them post-ship
  • Comfort working with engineering and data teams technically: you don't write code, but you understand trade-offs
  • Experience prototyping and validating concepts using AI tooling

Location, Compensation, and Reporting

  • Based in Boston, MA.
  • Expected to work in our Downtown Boston office 2-3 days per week
  • Reports to the Director of Product
  • Competitive salary
  • Meaningful equity package
  • Benefits include health and dental insurance and 401(k) matching
